Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, Fruit Attraction emerged as a pivotal event in Madrid, attracting a record-breaking turnout. With over 2,000 exhibiting companies from 56 countries, spanning more than 64,000 square meters, and expecting 90,000 professionals from 135 countries, the fair stood out as a prime platform for businesses in the fresh produce industry.
Pascal Simian, Senior Procurement Manager at MWW, shared insights from his first official visit to Fruit Attraction, noting, "The event truly lived up to its reputation as a bustling and vibrant fair."
The fair provided an invaluable opportunity for MWW to engage with suppliers. Pascal remarked, "Over two days, we had the chance to meet with more than 25 suppliers from around the world, discussing everything from cassava to sugar snaps and beans."
Positive feedback from suppliers about their relationship with MWW left Pascal gratified. He expressed excitement about finalising details with prospective suppliers, noting, "These new partnerships hold the potential to give us a competitive edge in the months and years to come."
In addition to supplier meetings, MWW's colleagues engaged with key customers. Pascal emphasised, "These discussions were productive and revolved around future business opportunities." Fruit Attraction served as a platform for MWW to explore, plan, and solidify the path ahead.
Reflecting on the event's success, Pascal concluded, "Fruit Attraction has truly delivered for the MWW team. The success of this event reinforces our commitment to attend again. And as an added bonus, Madrid's warmer climate makes it an even more appealing location compared to Berlin."
MWW eagerly anticipates the new partnerships forged and the strengthening of existing ones as the company continues to serve its customers with the finest fresh produce.
